A small multifamily property is a residential property that contains between 2 and 4 units. These properties can be apartment buildings or condominium complexes. Small multifamily properties are typically found in urban and suburban areas and can be good investments. 

EXAMPLE

For example, a small multifamily property could be a duplex, triplex, or 4-plex. These properties have 2 to 4 units and are categorized as small multifamily.
